English Grammar - Present Simple (Simple Present)

Present Simple (Simple Present) grammar in English is used to talk about routines or habits.

 

I get up at 7:00 am every morning.

I have lunch at 1:00 o’clock during the week.

 

It is also used to talk about facts.

 

The Earth spins around the Sun.

I smoke 10 cigarettes every day.

Water boils at 100° Celsius.
